Will a sunburn on my stretch marks make them worse?

stretch Marks
Lydia asked:

I have stretch marks on my upper thighs. I went canoeing Saturday and got sunburned there. Will that make them worse, less likely to minimize, or have no effect at all? I had a friend who would put crazy amounts of sunblock on her legs because of her stretch marks.

    I highly doubt it that it will have an effect on it;
    instead it’s just going to come out as a tan
    and might hide them a little bit. Making them
    not so recognizable.

  2. Anony, Yay! I'm one person!

    Girl(I assume not a guy), I have the same problem. I have stretch marks, only on my upper thighs. And i got sunburned there last week. The only thing I know that it did to me was make them little more noticable but still tan not a pinkish- color. So idk…. I dont think it will make them worse. i put cocoa cream on mine and they have faded more. So maybe you could try that or Vitamin A(or C) oil. That works too.
