There are a wide range of products out there to be honest.

Make sure you drink a lot of water and keep your skin hydrated and try to avoid caffeine.

A large percentage of pregnant women get stretch marks on their stomach, and more than 75% of women develop stretch marks around the waist, stomach, upper legs, **** and ****** during pregnancy. However, even though there are creams to help these stretch marks, pregnant women are advised against using them. These creams have a high vitamin A content, which can really affect a developing fetus.

There are many ways you can help yourself avoid pregnancy stretch marks. Wear a good support bra to avoid stretch marks on your *******. Use a body brush to massage the areas where you want to avoid getting stretch marks. The reason stretch marks appear during pregnancy is because of the rapid weight gain some women go through, therefore if you try to avoid gaining too much weight you may be able to avoid stretch marks altogether.

If you are interested in more effective ways of getting rid of pregnancy stretch marks, you can read abt them from this site:

Here are your options to remove your stretch marks. The stretch mark cream at the bottom is probably the best option on market, but you might have some results with the others
good luck

- Vitamin K and lavender oils are found to be effective in removing or eliminating the stretch marks.

- Cocoa butter, Vitamin E, and Almond oils are good home remedies for stretch marks.

- Walking, stretching, and other physical exercise or activities during pregnancy will prevents your skin to stretch marks.

- Avoid fatty diet during pregnancy. It will increase fat in your body that can cause stretch marks.

- Drink at least 5 liters water in a day. when your skin is elastic you will not get stretch marks

- Stretch mark cream: This the best option you have to effectively remove your stretch marks. By using a stretch mark cream you give your skin the added properties needed to be able to rejuvenate it self. One of the most recommended creams is from revitol, their cream is 100% natural and safe and they have a money back guarantee. you can find it at

P.S you can also see a review of their cream on youtube here

Well, if your going to get strech marks theres no way to prevent it. However you can treat it. When you get out the shower or bath before your skin is completely dry lotion it. try to keep your stomach moisturized, Also drink plenty of water, water helps your skin in so many ways it fights dry skin ,and also helps with shine and elasticity. and make sure you take your vitiams.

well even if there isnt actually a prevention, the good news is you wont get as many with your next pregnancies unless u gain excessively more weight with them. Ive had 3 children and the last 2 pregnancies just used the old stretch marks and they didnt stretch out any further. So they are still light and barely noticeable bc my skin hasnt been stretched passed its limits since the 1st pregnancy, 7 years ago. Good luck.

There are a few different ways to help your skin. The cocoa butter is really good, my personal fave is Palmers:) and bio oil is also good. but, also remember that your skin is your biggest organ on your body.....wierd I know. So, drinking lots of water (everything in moderation) is also good advice. So, make sure you massage yourself as you put your lotion on, because that will do 2 things: 1. help your skin detox 2. relax you and help your skin become more elastic. Also, try putting some vitamin E (about 2 to 3 soluble caps) into your bath water (throw in a little milk and lavendar, you have a spa:) Honestly, you will also have to face that you might still get them, so plan B (after baby is born) would be to really keep doing what you are, and they will eventually fade. But if you are absolutely upset about having them, then you can always look into laser therapy. OK, I hope this helped you some:) Good Luck and Congratulations!:)

Stretch marks are genetic so chances are if your mom has them, you will too. However there are 2 things you can do to cut down on the number of them.

#1 Stay a healthy weight. Pregnancy isn't really eating for two it's only 500 extra calories which isn't much(2 cups of whole milk is 500 cals). Eat healthy, stay active and stay within the recommended 20-30 lb weight gain.

#2 Keep your skin moisturized. It doesn't have to be cocoa butter, it can be any kind of lotion or anything that keeps your skin moist and supple so that when you stretch, your skin stretches with you.

And remember, even if you get a crap load of strech marks it's not the end of the world. I cried when I got a bunch with my pregnancy but now I call them my love tattoos and they are a small price to pay for my two beautiful healthy boys. Good luck and try not to worry.

I think it just depends on your body, some women get them and others don't. I used coco butter and I didn't get any but my mom didn't either so I think I was lucky. Make sure you drink lots of water and stay hydrated so your skin will stretch better along with the coco butter.
