How can I stop the stretch marks on the inside of my thighs from hurting?

i have stretch marks on the inside of my upper thighs. I like to wear skirts but when I wear them, the stretch marks rub together and when rubbed after a period of time, they start hurting. It’s like the stretch mark is getting worse. Tights/panty hose/etc. have already been considered and are not an option for an answer.
